Community Development Initiative
NCNW-GAMS is dedicated to the personal, professional, social, financial and economic growth and development of the community through its Community Development Initiative (CDI). The CDI coordinates collaborations with other community partners, such as the current CDI strategic alliance partnership with King Streets ( www.kingstreets.com ). King Streets provides an array of services, programs, resources and support for the community via its overall purpose of providing the community with a virtual listing of resources. King Streets' mission is based on the revitalization of not only the physical streets named after Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr., but also the revitalization of the individuals who live in the communities that align those streets, as well as the restoration of the businesses that make up the communities that the streets connect. An educational portal that provides resources, support, life studies, and life management, www.kingstreets.com provides unmatched personal, social, spiritual, community and economic development for our local communities and abroad.
This partnership allows NCNW-GAMS to have both a virtual presence (on the web) and a physical presence (via workshops and seminars held in various community center environments). In partnership with KingStreets, NCNW-GAMS offers assistance with identifying, planning and implementing strategies to help you address issues related to the following:
